Cooking Instructions for Lindley Mills 100% Organic Old-Fashioned Stoneground Grits:
Bring 3 cups of water to a boil; add 1/2 cup of Lindley Mills Organic Old-Fashioned Stoneground Grits and bring back up to a boil. Reduce heat to medium/low and slow cook for 25 minutes, stirring often until all water is absorbed and grits become thick. Add butter, salt, and pepper to taste and enjoy!
Yield: Makes about 2 cups of cooked grits.

These grits are awesome! I love that they are organic and coarsely-ground. They can be used as a good substitute for polenta too! I made these in a breakfast casserole with sausage, and it turned out delicious.
