We locally source our 100% Certified Organic North Carolina wheat from farms across the state. We work directly with local farmers to continue to bring you our NC Bread flour and have just started getting in to this years' new crop of organic wheat.
We love having local hard red winter wheat flour available for all of our local bakers. It completes the farmer-miller-baker circle and keeps our flour as sustainable as possible. We have been supporting local, organic wheat farmers for decades and are glad to see the demand for more local products increasing. In the days of our founder, Thomas Lindley, all the wheat he ground would have been local (and organic!) wheat for his friends and neighbors. We are proud to continue to honor that tradition and to mill organic local wheat into fresh flour for our bakers.
If you'd like to bake with a 25# bag of NC Bread flour give us a call (336-376-6190) so that we can fresh mill your flour to order. You can pick up a bag at our office during business hours.
